A: I visit different parts of the Gaviota Coast regularly, at least once per month. Lately I have been there every day as a result of the Refugio oil spill.

A: As a photographer, I appreciate the amazing scenery, pristine coastal bluffs and stunning coastline. As a long-time Santa Barbara resident, I appreciate the open expanse of natural beauty.

Q: What do you love about the Gaviota Coast?
A: I love the wide open spaces and expansive views of the ocean and Channel Islands, especially when whales or dolphins swim by. I love bringing my son there to see the birds and other critters, and to experience the rich history of the area.
